2010 was a tough year for me. The TEAM experienced the lows of losing 2 key members...work was increasing hectic and stressful too. However, we did have the highs of a great addition to the TEAM and I could see some nice lights for the TEAM at the end of 2010. Hopefully, this light can grow brighter in 2011. As for personal life, it is always joyful to see Enzoboy grow and the bond of the family become stronger each day. Thank you my loving wife, Lynn, for being there for me & Enzoboy every single moment! She took care of all the details in our lives! I would say 2010 was a better year than 2009 overall but I have a feeling that 2011 would be BETTER!!!

Below are the BEST of 2010 for me.

Movie of the YEAR - Inception & Ip Man 2
Inception impressed me this year with its refreshing plot and storyline. I love Ip Man 2 as well!

Makan of the YEAR - Morton's Steakhouse
It has to be Morton's Steakhouse! I love steak especially thick ones. All steaks are good here and leave some space in your stomach for the Chocolate cake! They made my birthday extra special by printing my name on their menu, made a card for me and threw in the chocolate cake!

Hideout of the YEAR - Riders Cafe
We love this place so much that we came here once every 2 weeks for a couple of months this year. Great place for breakfast and Enzoboy love seeing the horses here.

Album of the YEAR - None
Sadly...there was no particular album that leave a great impression for me this year...

Artiste of the YEAR - Eason Chan 陈奕迅
It has to be Eason!!! Attended his DUO concert in Singapore. Simply the BEST!

Song of the YEAR - 如果我是陈奕迅 (MR)
Love this song by MR. The lead singer sounded like Eason and their songs reminded me of Beyond!

Drama of the YEAR - 巾国枭雄之义胆豪情
This sequel was even better than the last one. Chased the drama from first till last episode

Mall of the YEAR - Premium Outlet @ Houston
I shopped till I nearly needed to buy a new laggage! Lots of GOOD bargains!

Team of the YEAR - The DREAM TEAM
Despite a couple of setbacks earlier this years, this team sticked with me and made it through the year! You guys ROCKZ!

Player of the YEAR - None
No outstanding players this year...

Event of the YEAR - The Big Splash & iScream
This was a very important teambuilding event for me and the TEAM. The overwhelming success of this event signalled that the TEAM had moved on since the lost of a key member. This was one of the most enjoyable teambuilding event I had in the last couple of years!

Experience of the YEAR - Singapore Grand Prix 2010
This was the first time that our sector got so close to the race. We were at sector 0. Could see the F1 cars, drivers, grid girls, president up close! Gotta be the best experience of the year!!!

Gadget of the YEAR - Macbook
Really enjoyed the new APPLE experience so far!

Travel of the YEAR - Hong Kong & Macau Trip
Although this was a tough trip for me (especially when I needed to entertain Enzoboy most of the time), I still enjoyed and cherished the quality time spent with the FAMILY.

2010 BEST of the BEST - the FAMILY
It was a hectic year for me at work. Enzoboy was the one who could pull me away from my working desk. Lynn was the one who always take care of the details of the family while I was stress at work! Love seeing Enzoboy grow and Love seeing the FAMILY getting closer! LOVE you guys!

Francis reminded me in his blog that this was the 20th time we had this Christmas dinner! Yes. These kakees have been a great part of my life for a long time now! It was a simple dinner affair with a spread of Zi Char dishes and Champagne.

As usual, the kids entertained themselves with ice-creams, motorbikes, cartoons...etc. The kakees did some good catch up.

After the dinner, Francis brought out 2 albums of photographs taken during our school days! It was hilarious looking through those pictures and they certainly brought back some good old memories!

We wrapped up the evening with gift exchange. Great company. Look forward for another good 20 years of Christmas dinners together!!!
Hahaha! Hopefully, our kids will carry on this tradition!

Ho Ho Ho...Is Christmas Day. Went Serenade for Dim Sum breakfast. I must admit that I was more impressed by Maxim's Palace. Although both these restaurant were from the same chain...somehow Serenade lost out slightly. I guess was the push cart that was missing in Serenade. However, Serenade still served good dim sum though. I was impressed by its sharkfin dumping soup. This is a MUST-TRY. The rest were nice too.

After the heavy breakfast, we took a walk and did some shopping in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Dinner was at 翠華. I read lots of good reviews about this HK cafe. The reviews were right. I was impressed with the Pork noodle and the "Pork" Bun. The Pork Bun did not really contain pork but just a spread of butter and condense milk. A MUST-TRY! This cafe is really worth a second visit!

Christmas Eve. Met up Lynn's buddy Angela and her family for brunch at Maxim Palace Restaurant. While waiting for them, we saw a protest about Lahman Bro right across the street.

I knew that Maxim Palace must be good when I saw a huge crowd outside the restaurant. We waited for about 45mins before we got our table. Inside was packed as well. I love the traditional push cart style dim sum and the harbor view in the restaurant. I could also enjoyed the food as Enzoboy entertained himself with his new found friend. I personally love the Bo Luo Bao and fried cuttlefish. Great Food! A MUST-TRY!

Dinner was at 小肥羊. I felt it was super over-rated. After dinner, we went back to the hotel and our moms agreed to take care of Enzoboy for us. This was the only time that Lynn and myself had some time to ourselves. Lynn did not spare any time and headed straight to her favorite bags store.

It was near midnight and the street was still buzzing with people.

We did the Christmas countdown in the street while enjoying our 许留山. LOVE the Christmas Spirit here!!!

Today was Enzoboy's Day! It was Disneyland visit! Enzoboy kept telling me that he was going to meet all his friends...Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Buzzlight...etc! He was all so excited!

This Disneyland visit is definitely one that we met and take pictures with the most Disney characters. Enzoboy would go queue to take with whichever "friends" he spotted. We queued 1.5 hours for Mickey and Minnie, 30mins for Donald & Daisy, 30mins for Tigger, etc... But I must said that I was equally excited when I met with his friends too! Haha!

Initially, Lynn and I thought that we would have left the park by 3pm. We were wrong. Enzoboy was enjoying himself taking rides and pictures with his friends. He knocked out only at 7.15pm. That was the time Lynn and I had for some shopping. We took turns to go into the shop as one of us had to accompany Enzoboy while he was asleep. The Christmas atmosphere really filled the air when the fake snow flakes got sprinkled along the main street. Really love the party mood around the park.

Overall, a tiring but FUN day for us especially Enzoboy!!! This was the 3rd time Enzoboy had visited Disneyland and this was the one he enjoyed most for sure!

Visited Ruins of St Paul in the morning. Took some pictures with the landmark of Macau. Afterwhich, stopped by along the street to get some Portuguese Egg Tarts and Pork Bun.

We headed back to HK after lunch at a Portuguese Restaurant. We rested in our hotel before we hit the famous Ladies Street of Mongkok in the evening. Dinner was at 榮園麵家. It was situated at a very small lane of Nelson Street. I must say that this stall served one of the BEST Beef & Fish Ball Kway Tiao soup I ever ate. It is a MUST-TRY! My mom tried the Wanton soup and commented that it was impressive as well.

After dinner, it was shopping along the Ladies Street. However, Lynn and I did not get anything as Enzoboy was not behaving well the entire night. Thus, we headed back to the hotel earlier than planned. Along the way back to the hotel, we stopped by the Hello Kitty fair at Langham Place and snapped some shots of Enzoboy with the Kitty.

So far...Enzoboy was really a challenge! Tomorrow will be Disney Day...lets see if we can survive!

Day 2. Woke up early to prepare for our trip to Macau. As Enzoboy was still asleep, I went to my favorite 大家樂 to ta-bao breakfast back to the hotel.

After breakfast, we checked out of our hotel and headed for China Ferry Terminal to take the boat ride to Macau. This was the first time I came to Macau. I must admit that it was more impressive than I initially thought. The architecture around the city was awesome! I can see that all the casinos here were out to impress the potential customers with their extravagant deco and promotions. Venetian was still the most outstanding of all!

Before we headed out for the evening, actually Enzoboy and I went to Kid City at our hotel. I must say that it was all worth it with just 80HKD and your kid can play with anything in the playground for free! This includes the arcade machines.  Enzoboy did have fun there!

In the evening, we went to the famous Senado Square. The buildings looked awesome with the Christmas lighthings!

The day was not done until we completed taking pictures of the night scene outside our hotels!

The Family left for Hong Kong yesterday. A tough day. Enzoboy did not get his afternoon nap...so was throwing quite a bit of temper during the day. Haha! He did enjoy himself and attracted some attentions dragging his Astroboy luggage around.

Had my favorite ice milk tea and pork chop cheese bake rice for my dinner.

After dinner, we headed down to the Avenue of Stars to watch the laser show. As Enzoboy was not in the mood of walking more, we decided to cut the night short and returned to the hotel to rest. Haha! I did sneak out to buy supper though!
